Wasted hours today trying to buy a #railticket online. Failed. Went to station (after checking opening hours of ticket office). Ticket office closed. I remember when you could turn up on the day and buy a biodegradable card ticket. Which method uses more of the planet's resources, I wonder?
What a crazy world the British rail ticketing system is. I've just bought 12 tickets (instead of 2) for a journey to Barnsley but it saved me £85.

My #RailTicket has gone up 50p since last week - the latest of many rises in the past few years that has corresponded with an overall decline in service.
Where is all this money going? It certainly doesn't feel like it's going to the people working on the #trains.
