💧Gokul Jalashay is an oxbow lake located on the southern edge of the Ganga (Ganges) River. Udaipur Jheel is also an oxbow lake.

The Convention on Wetlands is the only international treaty focused on wetlands.
🔸It provides a platform of 172 Contracting Parties working together for wetland conservation and wise use and have already committed to maintaining the ecological character of over 2,530 #RamsarSites.
The #RamsarSites photo exhibition formed part of the cultural programme of COP15 and highlighted the role of Wetlands of International Importance. For delegates, the photographs provided a welcome counterpoint to negotiations.
