Overall, I had a blast with switching between the Mario bros. and Bowser throughout the game, such as having Bowser suck things in for the brothers to interact with. Also, the giant fights rock.

Sears Tele-Games Electronic Games Pinball Breakaway box

#RandomGameSaturday Sears Tele-Games Pinball Breakaway, a rebadged version of the Atari Video Pinball dedicated console, in the box. Or maybe they were produced in the opposite order, but Atari created it. (I guess you'll have to trust me that the console in there.)

My copies of Like A Dragon: Inshin! I imported the Japanese version back in 2018 bc I honestly didn't think we'd get an English translated version. Thankfully we did ❤️ #RandomGameSaturday

Sneakers for the Xbox

I've got a very important game for #RandomGameSaturday... Sneakers for the Xbox!

This prestigious exclusive I just bought was made by Media.Vision (of Wild Arms fame) and has music by at least one Zuntata member, so I want to believe that it won't just blow my socks off, but my sneakers as well

I adore Fantasy Zone and this off shoot is a blast. (I know what I did there.) The graphics are Cute Em Up excellence, it makes good use of the FM sound unit, and the paddle controls are smooth joy. <3

Almost forgot about #RandomGameSaturday, so here's RollerCoaster Tycoon... on Xbox, which came a few years after the PC classic. Unfortunately, it honestly doesn't have anything over the original, and translating the gameplay to a gamepad just didn't work. #retro #retrogaming #gaming #xbox

This #RandomGameSaturday I've got Yu Gi Oh The Sacred Cards which is definitely one of the most... interesting YGO games I'd played. Like the 7th GBA game that was a huge departure from the classic ("rule-following") game that released the year before.

Pretty fun though.

A simple game with over the top action and a surprisingly strong story about rage, fate and the people who use this fate to their advantage.
Unfortunately, the true ending is locked behind paid DLC.

I'm in Ireland again, so this week's #RandomGameSaturday is Sonic Advance for the Gameboy Advance, which I just happened to bring with me.

Been having bullfrog on my mind lately and it reminded me I once bought the PS2 port of theme park world (Sim theme park across the pond)

I really like this game, though I think the PS2 port is missing some stuff. At least it's got the Scottish ant thing

There's been Star Fox rumors floating around, so I've been thinking about that series again, and honestly? This game was pretty solid actually.

A semi-random game for #randomgamesaturday: Hanagumi Taisen Columns, which was released on this day in 1997. It's my favorite take on the Columns-formuly and a very fun competitive puzzle-game

OK, I haven't done a #RandomGameSaturday for donkeys'.

Here we have Yoshi's Island DS. The original Yoshi's Island is easily my favourite SNES game of all time, but this... I just bounced off this. 😕 For me it's a poor imitation that doesn't match up to the original.

I’m not at home to post anything from my collection for #RandomGameSaturday. So I hope these 2 pics of Scad Race & Daytona USA 2 arcade machines I found today out in the wild count.

Beatmania IIDX 7th Style (PS2)

This was the first IIDX game I bought. Lots of songs I get nostalgic to go back and play. Some fun Eurobeat licenses in here too!

Deathtrap Dungeon for the PS1 #RandomGameSaturday I got this for a couple of quid at a wonderful retro game shop in Scarborough called "The Game Pad". Was a really fun game until there is a huge difficulty spike and it's expected to die all the time, still worth a look!

#RandomGameSaturday brings us Aliens vs Predator for the Xbox 360.

My recollection of this is that it's a mediocre single player game with some great multiplayer modes which no one played. I remember playing as a xeno being the best part.

Here's a random Nintendo Famicom game for #RandomGameSaturday . This is Family School, which I think was a game that an insurance company gave away for free. I forget why I went out of my way to purchase this cart!

I love that region exclusivity is a thing of the past. You can just go into a Bic Camera store, buy a random game because the cover looks awesome and sometimes it even has all languages on the cartridge.
