So when I posted the other Realms of Chaos I talked about who I combined WHFRP with 2nd edition D&D. Well I also created a system for warband fighting using D&D 2nd ed rules, but all the Warhammer background. So we would each create a warband and then I would create a battle scenario, then we would compete against each other. The wining champion would get chaos attributes and gifts etc... until they finally became completely corrupted.

Sometime in the late 80's I was into playing Warhammer Fantasy Battle and also adapted rules from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay into 2nd ed D&D. It always amazed me how different the 2 games were. WFRP felt so much more gritty than D&D, they were both great, just different experiences. So I tried to blend them together. This book was so filled with amazing art and ideas it became one that I still occasional reference for ideas 35 years later.

My fave was the Plaguebearers epic duel with some Arco flagellents and Celestians.
His victory also gained him a Chaos weapon (Flail of Shrieking) and attracted more followers....Chaos Squats!

This time, the Warbands clashed for supremacy in a ruined temple. It quickly degenerated into old rivalries.
My champion got pasted and was 'blessed' for his failure with being Shrunk by mutation by 50%.
