Beach is an intuitive art mixed media collage assemblage capturing the edge where the tide meets land, or the land meets the sea. Layers of upcycled, recycled blue denim become rolling ocean waves, peaking and breaking in natural worn edges, merging into white foam of handwoven cotton fabric with frothy fringe. A scallop shell floats at the top and a simple driftwood stick is washed ashore onto the sandy ground of painted canvas.
