This is a glorious small thing.
I made some red ochre ink (from local stone), painted onto a canvas board (4’x4”), then dropped a blob of purple acrylic ink into the middle. All done very wet and left to dry overnight.
I love it.

🦣🎨Staying with the ochre theme, a sandstone pebble used as a grinder for the pigment stained with both red & yellow ochre and small wooden implement that has been coloured with yellow ochre. It is hoped that scientific analysis can give a precise date.
