Discovery: the Red Cabbage & Alum Ink - which is very purple - turns blue on some papers but not on others.
I love how the colours sit together on the page…..

Look at that blue!
Mixed from some Dark Ultramarine pigment I received the other day. The outside is pure blue, in the centre, a mix of Ultramarine and Madder Root (with some Warm Ochre pigment sprinkled on). On canvas board.

I sold a two Monk pictures yesterday. This is the second: ‘Monk & the Storm Clouds’.
It’s a big (60cm x 84cm), recent piece, that I liked very much.
I hope it brings years of joy to its new owner.
