I sold a two Monk pictures yesterday. This is the second: ‘Monk & the Storm Clouds’.
It’s a big (60cm x 84cm), recent piece, that I liked very much.
I hope it brings years of joy to its new owner.

It was one of the first of my bigger Monk pictures and, after a year of patient waiting, it has found its way out into the world.

Increasingly I’m making my own inks and paints. I like the hyper-local, artisan feel of mixing ink.
Today I received four powdered pigments: Viridian Green, Genuine Madder Root, Warm Ochre & Burnt Umber.
So I spent the afternoon seeing what they could do.
