Limited palette seascape: a base layer of Payne’s grey over white primer, then just olive green, warm white and a hint of Indian red yellow. Crooked skyline, with suggestion of land and buildings, merging with sea below and sky above. Slightly golden light on the horizon, picking up details of waves below. Very simple composition.
