#RegentTheatre #OperaAustralia The Barber of Seville. Rossini’s miraculous confection is like delicate clockwork: get everything right & it unfolds wonderfully. Unfortunately this version, despite fantastic singing & playing, is overwrought, overdone & over-complicated, greatly spoiling the effect.
