We need more control over contractors' vehicles. Work on York Bridge in #RegentsPark has over a dozen vans parked on the footway today.

There is no way all of them are delivering vital materials, I guarantee most of them are being used for commuting.

No other commuters are indulged like this.

7. Here we are on Parkway trying to get into #RegentsPark. She is actually in the cycle lane. Parkway is a disgusting junction for walking and cycling.

5. Here we passing an illegal trade vehicle, when there is a parking restriction, on the Outer Circle #RegentsPark. This parking constantly puts school children in danger yet the @theroyalparks.bsky.social do nothing about it.

That is the argument used to keep motors on the Outer Circle #RegentsPark notwithstanding there being parallel main roads: Marylebone Rd (6 lanes), Albany St, Prince Albert Rd, Park Rd, only 100 m away.

I have asked, why not also open the Broadwalk and Rose Gardens to motors on this same logic.

Mandatory lanes might be some use if police ever enforced them. Then drivers *might* start respecting them.

I've had officers tell me they won't enforce the one at York Gate #RegentsPark because 'it will slow the traffic'.

That Mitsubishi Outlander was seen regularly in #RegentsPark: officers ticketing parking offenders and doing speed checks.

I haven't seen it since before the summer. I thought the parks police had been disbanded. I had no idea they were redeployed to anti-cycling.
