I have had countless examples of patients being referred for #RegionalAnaesthesia #RegionalAnesthesia for their surgery due to GA being considered too high risk. In those cases, successful RA is key to reducing harm, but it is so much more than just placing a needle next to a nerve/plexus

😂! There is a time and a place for #RegionalAnaesthesia #RegionalAnesthesia!

The key is to know when it IS appropriate for YOUR patient, and when it is NOT.

So far- tonsil-block negative! 😂

I love the medial needle insertion approach to the IPACK block. Have you tried it?
I find it
Faster,
Easier to perform
Easier to see the needle

But you must take care not to puncture long saphenous.
