Screenshot the final version. It shows several lines of seemingly random letters and character combinations in different colors and formatting. The toolbar is now floating above the keyboard and also features a color picker as well as bold, underscore etc
Got it working now using an overlay instead! This now looks quite nice to me and matches the look of the notes app more or less. The formatted text is stored as HTML in my json format on devices that don't have iOS26 it will display as plain text as SwiftUI […]

Screenshot of my app showing a text editor. Some random text (“Dhdjhdjfjfijfi...” etc.) is typed out. A formatting toolbar is visible with options for bold (B), italic (I), and underline (U). The bold option is currently selected. The toolbar touches the keyboard instead of floating above.

Screenshot of the 'Relationship Menu' app on an iPad. The screen shows a welcome banner inviting users to create custom relationship agreements, and a list of saved menus, most labeled 'Anonymous' with timestamps from May 22, 2025.
Split-screen view of the 'Relationship Menu' app on an iPad. The left side shows a detailed communication menu with color-coded relationship preferences like 'Texting' (green), 'Discussing family, partners, relationships' (red), and 'Nonviolent Communication' (green). The right side shows the main menu listing saved relationship menus, including one labeled 'Anonymous' marked as open.
Screenshot of the 'Relationship Menu' app on an iPad. The main focus is on a modal dialog titled 'Daily or frequent check ins' with a blue 'Must' priority indicator stating 'This is essential; it's a non-negotiable need or preference.' Below is a Notes section with editable text that reads 'This is a note on this item.' The background shows other communication preference items including 'Discussing work and hobbies,' 'Ability to express disagreement without hurt feelings,' and partially visible items about phone/video calls, politics discussion, and relationship meetings. An iOS keyboard is visible at the bottom of the screen.
