I don’t know how the meeting went, what they spoke about.
But seeing his name, on the wall, at the @HolocaustMuseum a few years ago, brought back memories of my father and mother, and how both, Holocaust kids, focused on hope, human solidarity, on #NeverAgainForAll.

Among the Jewish people Zwonarz saved were Jafa & Nathan Wallach. He also arranged for their 4 yr daughter, Rena, to stay with Ian & Magda Kakol, saving also her life. Here are the Walachs reunited with their daughter after the war.

Initially, Zwonarz did not tell his wife he was hiding Jews (they had 4 children). When it became impossible to do it alone, he told her. Franciszka did not refuse to help, and the risk and sacrifices they took, saved the lives of 5 humans.
