On Monday, we held a whole school Remembrance Service.

We honoured the former students who gave their lives in WWI and WWII by reading their names aloud.

We then observed a two-minute silence.

This service reminded us all of the importance of remembrance.

Russell Findlay to Whitefoord House. The MSP received a comprehensive briefing on our charity's work supporting homeless Veterans, and discussed Veterans' housing & healthcare. Thank you to Mr Findlay & his team for the visit.

Went over to Antigonish the other day to witness the #RemembranceDay2024 ceremony. We will remember them, and their sacrifice will not be in vain.

Where is the commemoration of civilians killed in war? Dr Lily Hamourtziadou, lecturer in Criminology at Birmingham City University, says the red poppy may remind us of soldiers killed but doesn’t remind us of war.

Everyone who dies in war should be remembered. Not just the soldiers but every civilian who has died. We should commit every day toward creating a world of peace where no one has to lose anyone to war ever again #RemembranceDay2024
