I'm going to try and stay focused on two things today. #Governance. And #ending #homelessness. The governance is research and discussion. Ending homelessness is research and #reorganizing my head. I'm in #uncalculated space right now.
One side of my studio. 3 IKEA Billy bookcases with doors along one wall, and a 4th bookcase with fabric boxes made to fit each shelf, holding sewing notions. Rulers and hoops are stored on an ikea pegboard. The ironing board just fits in the gap between the bookcase and the wall.
The other side of the room. New cutting table with adjustable height, set to the perfect height for me. I’ve been cutting fabric 4-8 hours a day for 4 days to get my scraps under control and my back hasn’t complained once. The shelves above the table hold more supplies, patterns and batting. There’s a project in process on the table, and a pile of prepped t-shirts for several t-shirt quilts on the chair.
My fabric stash. This is just the quilting cotton and the larger pieces of muslin.
More fabric. One crate of quilting scraps, one crate of batting scraps, the rest is garment clothing.
The room is done enough so I can work in it. 4 big garbage bags of trash, 2 ikea bags of fabric for the #quilt guild, 1 big garbage bag of fabric for the thrift store. There’s a closet that desperately needs a clean, but that’s gotta wait. #quiltsky #quilting #reorganizing
Got some second-hand storage from a friend who once made perfumes. As you can see, they’re still labeled.
I decided this one worked fine as a warning on the days I don’t wanna. 🤣🤣😮💨

I'm downsizing and reorganizing all my craft supplies. This is my purple beads. Before they were in 5 big boxes + misc places, now they are all in two boxes, where it is also very easy to see what is inside, and easy to take out just what I need for a project.
