A river runs away from us in deep rippling blue. We are looking along the river from its middle, with yellow and orange reedbeds at either side and green trees ahead. It looks like we are moving rapidly towards an island, a sandbar, or maybe a riverbend. But the painting is quite abstract, so maybe I'm imagining all that.
