Yes, I was thinking since they do it on Saturdays, Friday is a good day to raise awareness because people may have more time to do something about it on weekends.

Saturday is #caturday so Friday could be #Rescueday. still going to post rescues every day, just maybe get more focus on Friday.

Oh, thank you! We need more stories on here for all of the rescues! Maybe make Friday #Rescueday for people to share pics & stories of their rescued animals? & share the ones that need rescuing. I say Friday because it seems that it’s often on Saturday that shelters make their euthanasia decisions.

3 years ago(yest), I impulsively scooped up a traumatized feral stray in the middle of a snow squall. It had taken 5 months of outdoor feeding to even touch her. Now my quirky Arnie is safe, warm, & adored!
