reddit am I the asshole post by Storm Guy 87 AITA for inviting my best friend camping with my family + another friend she doesn't like? My husband (35M) is planning a weekend camping trip with me (30M), our kid (6), my husband's best friend (also 35M), and my best friend (31F). The thing is, my best friend HATES my husband's friend. To be fair, he used to be kind of a massive dick, but he's mellowed out since quitting his terrible job, he's great with our kid, and he's better at communicating in words instead of grunts. But my friend is still skeptical and she's always glaring at him and giving him a hard time. She's my best friend--basically my sister and an aunt to our kid--so of course I invited her. But AITA for asking my friend to come on the trip with us even though she hates this guy? EDIT: Thanks everyone for your responses. It turns out that I was definitely NTA, because they're dating now. Ben throws his hands in the air, color rising to his cheeks. “My problem is you.” “Excuse me?” she jabs one finger into his—wow, his very firm chest. “What do you—” “You and your goddamn leggings and perfect tits—” Ben clamps his mouth shut, but it’s too late.
