Full context; period started a few days ago, cramps had been dialing down– until now, when the combination of cramps + hunger + needing to pee dragged me out of bed in the middle of the night. I’m hoping protein bars + heating pad will help.🤞🏻

Roommate shoveled snow while it was inches-deep slush yesterday(?), so now he’s decided to put his soaking wet boots in the dryer. Which is on the same floor as us. It sounds like Thor’s doing a drunken dance with Mjolnir in hand, slamming against any available surface.

Went to bed around 12, woke up around 4 with my bladder screaming at me. Used the toilet, tried to get back to sleep, no dice. Apparently I’m just hungry enough to outweigh the sleepy. Wonderful.
