They used catchy melodies & synthesizers to create their sound & influenced bands like #NoDoubt & #Weezer. I ❤️‍🔥 this & hit. 🎼

#TheCars were leaders among "new wave bands". The band's first album is their best as far as catchy hooks and #RickOcasek 's lyricism goes, with songs like JUST WHAT I NEEDED and GOOD TIMES ROLL.

But for pure inventiveness their 3rd album PANORAMA is their defining statement.
