✅ The 6th International #RightsofNatureTribunal session closed with concrete outcomes: after hearing 17 fossil fuel and mining cases, the judges launched A New Pledge for Mother Nature and a Policy on the Rights of the Defenders of Mother Earth.
‼️ The findings of the 6th International #RightsofNatureTribunal were unequivocal: extractive industries operate through violence, dispossession, and impunity, while environmental defenders are criminalized for protecting land, water, and life.
➡️ Following hearings on fossil fuels in New York and mining in Toronto, frontline communities and Indigenous leaders presented evidence at the 6th International #RightsofNatureTribunal of systemic harm, and demanded accountability.
⚖️ 🌳 The Amazon spoke. The Tribunal listened.
