This is an LRAD (long range acoustic device). They can cause permanent hearing loss at a range of 15 meters and they are used by riot police. Now it would be a shame if someone knew that a small hole (2.5 cm diameter) made at any of the spots marked with an X will effectively disable them. The device has a square face with X's located in the center of each of its four quadrants.

This is an LRAD and how you can protect your community from them.
