He is holding what remains of his braid in his hand and looking at it. He is shirtless. After that, another close-up of Marloix's face, turning to face the left as he's leaning uncomfortably away from a razor blade that someone has pressed against his cheek. His cheek is partially shaved already and the hair on his head is now shorter. The hair on the back of his neck and his shoulders is bristling up. Marloix is snarling and glaring at the razor while sweat beads on his forehead. He says "Careful with that thing!" To the right are two sketches of Marloix, clean shaved with short, neatly combed hair, and the woman from earlier. Marloix appears to be wearing a more western style suit jacket with stiffer shoulders. The woman has her back to the viewer while she is holding up a hand mirror for Marloix. In the first sketch, Marloix is inspecting himself in the mirror with a plain expression, hand on his chin. In the second sketch Marloix leans back with a look of disgust on his face and says "I look stupid."

Slow year for art so take the rough sketches anyway. Experimenting with how a younger Marloix looks when he first arrives in Vitroneaux. I think it's starting to get to a point where I'm happy with it.
