Title: Enchanting Sebastian, Big Sky Royal novel

Author: Kristen Proby, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author

*****Book review*****

>Hallmark with Heat<

This is essentially a Hallmark movie with sizzle. I mean, royalty hanging out in Montana... on purpose? I'm pretty sure there are a dozen such movies that meet these criteria. I'm not knocking it because, of course, I like it. Despite its beauty, it just seems like such an odd place for royalty to descend upon.

Before I head deeper down that rabbit hole, I want to reiterate that this is a wonderful book. Nina Wolfe and Sebastian Wakefield may start fake, but they don't stay that way for long. At least, not for him.

-- Book quote
'β€œYou,” he whispers. β€œYou’re the only one I’m interested in touching like this. Jesus, after the past month, you’d think it would be clear that I’m completely enamored with you. But if you need reminding, I’m happy to do so.”'
-- Sebastian Wakefield

I get the defenses that Nina has built. Childhood trauma comes in many forms and has even more ways of manifesting even into adulthood. I do love that Sebastian recognizes some of the signs and tries to manage around it. He isn't always successful, but I love that giving up is unthinkable for him.

I think this is my first read from Kristen, but I don't expect it to be my last. It's a steamy, small-town, fake relationship romance that's easy to kick back, relax, and enjoy.

I read along with the audio book. The narrators are Kirsten Leigh and Robert Johanson. Being a sucker for a British accent, I really enjoyed the narration. Yes, from both voices even though Kirsten is American. 🎧🩡🎧
