"Promises" is a song written by #RichardFeldman and #RogerLinn and recorded by British singer and guitarist #EricClapton in September 1978. It appears on Clapton's studio album #Backless.

What's especially annoying is: #RogerLinn did something absurdly sensible and actually shipped the original power supply with a label on it that said "AdrenaLinn III." (Why TF doesn't every company do this?) So in my jungle of cables and wall-warts, I had only one labelled... and I can't find it.
