I taught a couple of students to play #roguewarriors today.

They got spotted, alarm raised, but managed to escape with the spy…though likely would’ve lost two squad members if we’d played out the final turn (time was short).
Fun was had.😄👍

I figured the hatching on the mini’s chest was a nod to Bennett’s (knitted🤣) chainmail vest in Commando and tried to paint it thus.

He charged in & blasted DEST-leader to smithereens before being gunned down by the unharmed DEST rifleman (the sniper also pulled his pistol but missed!).
The game ended with a narrow DEST victory.🤏🥷

Finally dropped the SMG Rasta but the space ninjas have taken a lot of wounds.
In the game, after a hit you roll a D6. 1-2 is. Wound. 3-4 is a pin. 5-6 armour stopped it. From this turn we house ruled it that 3-4 was a pin *if* you had any cover.

T2: criminal sniper juuuust hits the DEST sniper, taking off 3❤️s (basically reducing them to half HP!🤬).
DEST leader takes a couple of hits too.
The criminals take no damage but three are pinned (cannot move next activation. They can sure as hell shoot though!). #roguewarriors #skirmishwargaming
End of turn one and no shots fired, just everyone advancing a bit. It’s all going to depend on who gets initiative next turn and which soldiers get activated in what order 😬 #roguewarriors #skirmishwargaming
