A beloved NPC died today in the #RollcallForInitiative #Wildsea game, and it hit the kids pretty hard. One parent even wrote to thank me for giving her the chance to talk to her kid about love and loss in a safe environment, which meant a lot to me.

Today’s #RollcallForInitiative #Wildsea game was the kids giving each other religious trauma in-character for two hours straight, and then we switched to #Xcrawl and they fought an enormous cheeseburger and a blob of animate lutefisk.

Roleplaying games are pretty great, y’all.

I was just informed that the kids from #RollcallForInitiative have found this account.

I’m sure they were disappointed to find that I am as boring and pun-focused online as I am in meatspace.

Now I just have to hope they don’t find my Onlyfans.

One of the #RollcallForInitiative kids made me a standee of one of the NPCs in their game: The Librarian, an AI who has a slight glitching problem. It absolutely made my day.

In my Monday session of #RollcallForInitiative, the kids boarded a ship to escape a doomed city, and I had them each invent one member of the crew and tell us all how their character knows that crewmember. It worked so delightfully, and now they all would die to protect this ship.

I punched a wasp that was flying around the table at #RollcallForInitiative tonight, and I have never seen these kids as awed or quiet as they were for the five minutes immediately following this random wasp punch.
