According to authorities, the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Ross Street. Police have identified the deceased as 52-year-old Traci McDuffie and her son, 25-year-old Brandon McDuffie. MPD officials reported that Brandon McDuffie allegedly shot and killed his mother, Traci McDuffie.
