Simbalito is presenting a quartz vein in granite

Today #GeologyWithCats. We found during #hedgewatch many #quartz veins at the #Rosstrape. They formed when #silica rich fluids circulated in #fractures that formed during cooling of the Ramberg #pluton & are now remnants of a #geothermal system.
