Prince and I are superfans of the runners in the Halloween Half Marathon.
#RunTheRiver
Minneapolis in the morning
Beautiful weather and #RunTheRiver scenery making these last few weeks of #HoggJog training fun and easy. (As easy as running for more than three hours can be.)
Long #HoggJog after moving day
Not only is it warmer, but my body is tired.
A decent 21-mile #RunTheRiver nonetheless.
The marathon is just over a month away now, so it’s time for long runs and getting serious. (1/2)
What an awesome day for a #HoggJog!
Unexpected (to me) meetup with Brian Stepanek for part of this #RunTheRiver on a gorgeous Minneapolis morning!
So much beauty to take in every time I #RunTheRiver!
This #HoggJog went over 19 miles.
On a gloomy day for a run, I got some bad news about a friend and it got to be a slog for the last few miles because of the mental weight and the humidity, but there’s always something pretty as a distraction.
Sunday #HoggJog Trainer
Once again inflicting the pale Dad bod on people during the last third of this 15-mile #RunTheRiver. That included the mayor this time. He told me I was “rolling.”
I see beauty all around me. When I #RunTheRiver. When a street festival takes over Stone Arch. When my neighbors pick me up after a hard day at work. When I see live music. When the mayor runs past me with extra security today. When I fish the lakes.
One Minnesota #HoggJog #RunTheRiver
Today, we are all one Minnesota.
I’ve moved a lot in my lifetime and I have a habit of blending in wherever I am, but never quite feeling like I’m from the place or any place, really.
Today, I feel like I’ve always been from Minnesota.
Tweaked oblique is aching (don’t get old), plus some icy trails equals slow and easy for this #HogJog #RunTheRiver.
Easing into it post-illness.
What a beautiful day!
34 degrees warmer than my last #HogJog #RunTheRiver, which came at the beginning of the illness two weeks ago.
17 and sunny, so let’s hit the pavement and #RunTheRiver for a late January #HogJog.
Inspired by the Comeback Coogs winning in double OT in Lawrence…
At 26 to start, these are the warmest temps in 3-4 weeks for a Sunday #HogJog.
Mapped out a fun, new #RunTheRiver route since the Stone Arch Bridge closure switched sides.
Slow and easy today because there’s a lot of snow on the paths and occasionally had to go off-roading.
