On 06/02/1992, I was at the #BarrowlandBallroom in #Glasgow watching Runrig live on stage, in support of their 1991 'The Big Wheel' album.
This was the third time I'd seen them on #TheBigWheel tour - Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow.

Der Tod von Bruce Guthro, dem Nachfolger als Lead-Sänger, war eine schreckliche Nachricht und leider ja auch quasi das Ende von #Runrig.
So ein toller Musiker und feiner Mensch (soweit man das als Fan wahrnehmen kann).
Sorry für die Nostalgie, aber manchmal muß es sein.

Später bin ich nach Glasgow geflogen, zum Farewell-Konzert von Donnie Munro.
Natürlich war ich auch nach seinem Abschied weiter "Fan".
Manchmal denke ich, daß meine Seele etwas Gälisches in sich trägt.
Auch als ich später in Schottland war ... irgendwas Besonderes besteht da.

Habe #Runrig vor Jahrzehnten das erste Mal im Radio gehört als ich an meinem Geburtstag aus der Dusche kam (der Mensch ohne Anstand hatte den Sender verstellt) und dachte, was´n das? Wer ist das?

Dann ein schneller Einkauf, weil mir klar war, was an dem gestrigen Abendessen fehlte.

On 21/12/1991, I went to see #Runrig at the #AberdeenExhibitionCentre (demolished in 2020) on their last gig of the year.
Support came from Oban based folk rock band, #Capercaillie.
