A sweet and light confection, The Paris Novel takes all #RuthReichl has experienced in Paris and has her young heroine Stella visit that city & undergo an awakening of the senses. It's predictable, yes, but well worth going along with for the descriptions of food / art / clothes. Delicious escapism.
