A marmoset is giving a presentation in a lecture hall. A projection shows a marmoset's face with keypoint tracking. A monkey is sitting at the back of the lecture hall, thinking about a marmoset in a luchador mask.
Day 4 of #S4SN2024!
There were so many wonderful talks today, with the fantastic finale - a fresh study on automating cooperative task in marmosets!
What a stimulating 4 days! Many thanks to @s4sn.bsky.social for an amazing conference!

Day 3 of #S4SN2024 by @s4sn.bsky.social
I saw one of the most engaging talk by Valeria Gazzola and Christian Keysers on cross-species approach.
Their conversation-style joint presentation made me feel like I was a kid at a science museum watching the interactive educational show!
An apple, a monkey and a puff pastry humanoids are looking at space satellites at a museum and wondering why they are golden.
Day 2 of #S4SN2024 by @s4sn.bsky.social.
Today was half-day, so I got to visit JAXA (Japanese NASA) with two human fMRI researchers!
We also went to the AIST Science Square and checked out some cutting edge technology. We then discussed what the next 5 years of social neuroscience will be like.

Tomorrow, I'm presenting my poster at #S4SN2024 by @s4sn.bsky.social
If everything goes well, I'll be showing a video of freely moving monkeys foraging together.
Special thanks to @zurna.bsky.social and I. Lacal for this collaboration opportunity!

Day 1 of #S4SN2024 by @s4sn.bsky.social. The experience has been AMAZING!
My matched mentor studies humans.
Had Lunch with rat and fish researchers.
Sakura beer with hyperscanning expert.
It's one thing to have people from diverse fields, but it's next level when everyone is just, so, nice.
Having an absolute blast at #S4SN2024!
One of the best thing about this community is that you get to mingle with people from diverse fields, from humans to monkeys to rats to medaka fish!
Did you know that we'll have a mentoring program at #S4SN2024?
It allows for the opportunity to connect with internationally relevant researchers that have been matched 1-to-1 based on mutual interests!
