Salt Lake City won't break this 135-year-old record, but the similarities are striking Salt Lake City's first snowfall of the year avoids a record set in early 1891, but there are a lot of similarities 135 years apart.

Salt Lake City still has just 1 snow day (Dec. 27) so far this winter, none in sight for awhile. Latest first snow was January 2, 1891. I looked at my earlier Salt Lake records (back to 1848), got nothing that started that late. #SALTLAKECITYUT www.ksl.com/article/5142...
