We viewed our 1st Shakespeare show today on our trip to @stratfest.bsky.social: #SFWintersTale. Powerful performances with the focus on this season’s “forgiveness” theme. Beautiful costumes; compelling performances!

I abridged the play 15 years ago and remembered more than I anticipated!

He found The Winter's Tale so affecting that it took him some time to get out of his seat at the end of the performance. "I won’t quickly forget the end of this summer telling of The Winter’s Tale.”

Graham Abbey reflects on his deep bond with 'The Winter’s Tale' “It’s got to be my favourite [Shakespeare play] at this point,” says actor Graham Abbey, currently playing Leontes at the Stratford Festival.
