Excellent talk by Erik York at #SIGDOC23 about the strengths and limitations of GenAI in his sample tasks.

Real focus on prompt writing as vital and reducing ambiguity in goals and requests of ChatGPT.

Hey #SIGDOC23,

Interested in the methods discussed by Dr, Karastolis from @mit_cmsw?

Check out the paper discussing the full diagrams from Across the Disciplines at the WAC Clearing House.

We've reached a stage where we're using and sharing the MIT WRAP guidelines on Generative AI.

I worked very hard to have these guidelines value-driven and considered as a professional code of conduct.

Seemed like a good thing to share at #SIGDOC23

Allegra's dining table is covered in index-card sized pieces of colored construction paper arranged into categories. They give terms that 24 survey participants used to describe feminist research methodologies, like "equity," "positionality," and "bias." There is also a plate of pizza and a fuzzy blanket.

Attendees at my #SIGDOC23 talk asked me about my method(ology) for analyzing the data from my survey. Here's a snapshot of what that looked like. I coded by hand, writing out keywords and arranging them into groups to see the different categories emerging.
