I enjoyed the last #SIGN10 conference in this regard because it was easier for me to focus on the signed contents of the presentations. Hopefully there will be as many signed presentations as possible (or even all) next time on #TISLR16

#Sign10 invited the local deaf communities to attend the conference. I met so many people, think I left a bit of my heart with them in Trinidad.

I found motivation when I attended the panel discussion on the Deaf Caribbean Academic Network at #Sign10. I was empowered to see how the deaf academics used Video Diaries and in person meetings to help cope with inequities and inaccessibilities in education.
Is there formality in Black ASL? Dr. Rezenet Moges-Riedel discussed this topic at #Sign10. Looking forward to getting public access to their data - sooooo exciting to find out the April 2023 Black Studies Symposium will be shared with the public!
