In this page, we see teen Ko’grah upset about being invited to basketball play as he grumbles “tch- what’s so special bout sports anyways!?” As he passes a wall display window of various screens and TVs. Catching his eye as colorful splurges into his life quite literally in our view from classic manga palette. A pro basketball player fast as lightning is seen snatching the ball off screen and now running fast with it from the opposing team. He’s electrifying to Ko, awakening him. There’s an explosion of color and effects and stars. As the announcers go wild !!

Look at my first page of “bankshot” which is in full color n rendered !! First panel is teen ko’grah being kicked out of what was his adopted home by his aunt and him shouting “WHAT THE HELL!?!” upset and stunned, the next panel is his aunt up close clutching at her chest playing helpless victim and blaming this teen for causing trouble without knowing the story and she says “you’re more trouble than we can afford, such a problem child!!”, and the final striking borderless panel pictures ko stunned n betrayed tearing up as he feels the suffocating weight of her next load of passive aggressive toxic words at him. She blames him for too much trouble and holds it over him that they were just being nice to his late father by taking him on and have been nothing but nice but he’s so ungrateful and a burden, basically. More of an investment than they wanted to take on nor expected from a troubled teen. It’s all colorful graphically rendered and color gradient edited. The final panels speech bubble holds a bold red and purple outline over the black to bold blue background.

“The athlete” spiking a fire volleyball shot brightly down past the net as the announcer yells “AND THE KAIJUS EMPEROR TAKES THE WINNING SPIKE !! As the athlete makes a wild crazed darkened face “blahhhhh”

The top panel is the athletes pov of the ball being spiked past opponents who looked frustrated as they realize that lost. In the crowd afar there’s someone snapping pics. The athlete lands in the next panel with his emperor garb. And finally at the bottom in as color render opposed to the others, he strikes a cocky arms out pose proud. “THE MONSTER CAPTAIN..” “WINS IT AGAIN!!” And there’s noises of the crowd shouting in back. The last panel is very vivid and colorful esp with his figurative emperor dressings.

The start of #SM_passionfruit is lowkey fuckin so hard n I like how im just gunna get more crazy campy w this one compared to # metanonia which is more expressive serious ? N that one is half trad + digital art process full planning, while this one is full digital no planning !
