The photo is from Eden Hall Spa and is the "Slumber room". There are 6 beds im the room, each one has its own blanket and pillows. There are white mesh curtains in between each bed for a bit of privacy. The flooring is tiled with underground heaters. The decoration in the room is all very neutral colours to ensure a cosy relaxing environment.
This photo is of me and my 3 friends having lunch at the spa. We were told to wear our white dressing robes over swim wear so thats what we did. We are all looking at the camera and smiling while we wait for our food to arrive.
This was my starter at the spa which was a grilled halloumi salad. It was served on a duck egg blue coloured plate which had a cream trim around the rim. At the bottom of the salad were fried aubergines and peppers. The grilled halloumi sat on top and was coated with rocket salad and balsamic vinegar. It was very tasty.
My main course at the spa was the fillet salmon. The plate it came on was a blue and white speckled round plate. Opposite me you can see my friends cup that had her hot chocolate in and you can see her hands. On the plate was my food. At the bottom of the dish was a pool of dill hollandaise sauce, topped with sauté potatoes, tenderstem broccoli and the fillet of salmon sat on top drizzled with more of the dill hollandaise sauce. It tasted very nice and the flavours worked well together.
Had a lovely relaxing day today at Eden Hall Spa 🧖♀️ my favourite parts were the hydrotherapy room, slumber lounge and of course my full-body massage. Lovely 3 course meal at lunch time and even better company. Feeling refreshed and ready for the week ahead! #edenhall #spa #spatreatment
