A few pics from last week’s #SSWR2024 conference to remind you that lots of us (mostly queer/ trans peeps here) are masking (& nose spraying & CPC mouth washing). While many folks from this event now have COVID, none of these folks do (that we know of; all testing in case asymptomatic)! Mask up!

At last year's @SSWRorg I had the pleasure of meeting the amazing @Jcreswellbaez IRL. Since then we've published a "most-read" editorial in @JSWE_CSWE on AI, co-lead the @GCSocialWork Harness Tech initiative, and gave a well-received presentation on AI & scholarship at #SSWR2024.

One of the best moments of #SSWR2024 was meeting up with my @PittSocialwork doctoral cohort colleagues, Shaun Eack and @PittCRSP Director @kyaien. They're both endowed full professors, but it seems like just yesterday that we were first year doc students trying to figure it out.

Always a great time seeing @UCLALuskinSW's @astor_avi at #SSWR2024. He's doing some of the most important work around the world understanding schools and violence.
