So far today in #SummerCamp @ncssm-durham.bsky.social for 5th&6th graders we’ve looked at calendar math & the Doomsday Rule, number of factors if a number, and thinking about counting rectangles in a grid. We will soon play #mathGames and continue projects

Day 2 of #SummerCamp @ncssm-durham.bsky.social for 5th&6th graders is over - we looked at ‘Perfect Rulers’, decimals, notation, forward differences (a student found the factorial pattern in raising numbers to powers!), #mathGame Proof, group work, & more!

I can't believe week of #mathisfun residential #SummerCamp @ncssm-durham.bsky.social for 7th-9th graders is over! Ss gave great presentations, best I've seen at my camps, on Pyth.Th. proofs, fuzzy logic, constructions, Archimedes, infinity. I miss the Ss!
