screen shot of the rivers trust sewage discharge map showing grasmere, and united utilities storm overflow data saying 'not discharging', and that it last dischared on the 29th at 11.34pm for 2 minutes. On the right it shows that 246 overflow drains are discharging raw sewage right now.

What I can tell from the discharge maps is that though sewage was discharged into Windermere for over 17 hours after testing had already detected faecal matter in the water (!), in Grasmere it discharged for 2 minutes on Sunday night. I'm using this to help me decide if it's sensible to swim. #Swims
