Saag Aloo in a foil tray ready for freezing. Potatoes and Spinach. Spicy with ginger! The potatoes have yellowed due to the spices and the spinach has wilted nicely over them.
Four foil trays of the Saag Aloo, one without a lid yet and three with the white cardboard tops on with name and date. Now in the freezer. Behind them is my garlic pot with holes which I’ve had since my first home in 1980! Some things you never get rid of. Haha! A spice next to it and some eggs in a box.
Batch cooking today! Saag Aloo my absolute favourite food to freeze.
We eat it with butchers sausages, pork chops, chicken or obv with other curries. It’s so versatile and easy to make. Freezes like a dream.
