One Fire, Two Burned Homes and Wildly Different Insurance Outcomes Two neighboring families lost their houses in a Colorado wildfire. One was reimbursed for the contents of their home within seven weeks, and the other is still fighting.

SAFECO refuses to renew our policy due to the "roof is old and inadequate". We REPLACEDB THE ENTIRE ROOF LAST JUNE. Sent the invoice. They said it's "not completed" and refuse to send anyone out to inspect. I fukin Hate #Safeco.
