panel six. valerie is now communicating via linkpearl with an unknown person, who has apparently instructed him to bring the unconscious farlie directly to their private chambers. he asks why this is what they want.

panel seven. a shot of valerie carrying farlie away over his shoulder from behind, still communicating via linkpearl. he has changed his mind and insisted he doesn't want to know why he is delivering her to the unknown person's private chambers.

panel one. farlie, a female viera, and valerie, a male elezen, appear to be walking together in ishgard and enjoying a pleasant conversation. valerie has apparently been asking her many questions, but farlie seems to be in good spirits and happy to provide whatever answers he may need.

panel two. a close up of valerie as he asks his next question: which is "do you think raphael would forgive me?". for added context, raphael is farlie's romantic partner, who has thus far had no reason to mistrust valerie alone with her up to this point.

panel three. farlie's expression shifts into a dreamy one as she thinks over how to answer valerie's question. she reassures him that raphael is a kind and forgiving individual. she is looking away at this time, and fails to notice that valerie is now holding a syringe filled with an unknown red fluid.

panel four. a high contrast impact shot of the crime: valerie has taken farlie by surprise and injected the unknown red fluid into farlie's blood stream, directly into her neck. she was mid-sentence at the time, and her words simply trail off as she slowly loses consciousness.
