A Saint Andrew's Cross spider sits in the center of its web. The spider has the habit of sitting in the web with its legs in pairs. Its abdomen is horizontally striped yellow and black, similar to a bee's, but close inspection reveals tiny dots of blue or silver on its abdomen as well.
