The promontory to the left is #MoriPoint, and the small island is formally called #SanPedroRock and informally derised as Birdshit Rock (because it's covered in guano). I took this picture from Beach Boulevard in Pacifica, CA.

#SharpParkBeach in #Pacifica, CA with #MoriPoint and #SanPedroRock in the distance. The waves here can reach over 20 feet in height and sometimes swamp the pier from which I took this picture. Due to treacherous rip currents and careless people, drownings occur here every year.
