The #NihonShōgakkōFire, from #ThisDayInHistory in 1923, was a racially-motivated #terrorist act against #California's #AsianAmerican community. Arsonist Fortunato Valencia Padilla burnt a school, killing ten children. He confessed to 25 fires & died in #SanQuentinPrison in 1970.
