We recently strayed upon this souvenir brochure for the New Swan Village Gasworks opened on 9 October 1953. Operated by the much missed West Midlands Gas Board. The only surviving features of the works are two gas holders and brickwork. Ref: LF 49.13 #LibraryofBham #SandwellArchive
